launch of MobilityAnalyst, tool for mobility policy simulation
MobilityLabel introduces MobilityAnalyst. This system provides immediate insight into the consequences of new mobility policy and helps to save travel time, costs and CO2 emissions. From now on, employers can easily and objectively map out the effect of specific employer measures themselves.
Are you looking for a good analysis of your employees’ commute? Do you want to know how many kilometers your employees travel? And how they do that? And do you also want to know how many employees could travel in a different way? For whom public transport or bicycle would or would not be an alternative? And what is the work-from-home potential? And how many parking spaces do you actually need? You will get the answers to these questions – and more – with the latest tool from MobilityLabel: ‘MobilityAnalyst‘.
The tool is simple to use: we pre-proces all calculations for you in advance, based on the data of your employees. You can then take a seat behind the controls and start ‘playing’ with various policy parameters of your HR policy and mobility policy. MobilityAnalyst provides immediate insight into the effect of home working policy, bicycle policy or, for example, public transport policy on your employees, your company and the environment. By playing with sliders and values, the user creates scenarios and immediately sees the numerical feedback of the selected measures.

How MobilityAnalyst works:
On the left you can set various mobility policy parameters and select ready-made example scenarios.
On the right you will immediately see the numerical consequences of the scenarios, values and options selected on the left. Immediately after changing the input, you can see here the results of the change, expressed in terms of costs, time, impact and emissions, divided into various quantitative indicators, namely:
- Distribution by modality (car, public transport and bicycle)
- Total annual travel expenses
- Annual travel costs per FTE
- Annual commute in distance and travel time
- Average number of weekly office days per employee
- Number of employees and number of required parking spaces on an average office day
- Annual CO2 emissions
- The score as a mobility label, based on CO2 emissions per FTE per week
- The number of people affected by the chosen policy
- A histogram showing individual improvements and deteriorations in one-trip time
- Average travel time one way and weekly, per FTE
- Number of employees with a one-way journey of more than 60 minutes
- A histogram with individual one-way journey times
In this way, employers can make fact-based decisions in the field of employment and mobility policy.
